Request to be in a Talent Pool

While browsing job vacancies, you may choose to express interest in joining a school’s talent pool. This option allows you to be considered for future opportunities, even if no suitable roles are currently available. By joining a talent pool, you demonstrate your enthusiasm for working at a particular school, enabling recruiters to proactively match you with upcoming vacancies that align with your skills and experience.

1. Ensure that you are logged in by selecting the Sign in / Sign Up button in the top right-hand corner and following the instructions.

You are able to request to join a talent pool in a number of ways. The following help sheet will demonstrate how to apply:

- through a vacancy

- by going straight to the employer

How to Request to Join a Talent Pool via a Vacancy

2. Enter information into the search filters and select Find Jobs.

3. Select a vacancy from the jobs available.

4. Select Our School.

*If this is a vacancy for a role at Trust level, the button will read as Our Trust.

5. Select Join Our Talent Pool.

6. Complete the following fields:

• Role – Choose a position from the drop-down menu.
• Key Stage – Select one or more relevant key stages from the available options.
• Salary Range – Specify the desired minimum and maximum salary.
• Cover Letter – Enter cover letter content in the open text field provided.
• Employment Type – Select from available options such as full-time, part-time, or job share.
• CV – Upload a new CV or attach an existing one.
• Declaration – Review and accept the terms and conditions to proceed.

Select Join.

7. A warning message will prompt the candidate to confirm the accuracy of the information entered. If the details are correct, select Yes to continue.

Apply through an employer

8. Select Our Employers across the top of the page.

9. Select a school or trust from the available options.

10. Select Join Our Talent Pool.

*When applying at trust level, you can choose specific schools within the trust to join their respective talent pools. 

11. Complete the following fields:

• Locations – Choose the schools the candidate wishes to join within the talent pool. Multiple selections are permitted.
• Role – Choose a position from the drop-down menu.
• Key Stage – Select one or more relevant key stages from the available options.
• Salary Range – Specify the desired minimum and maximum salary.
• Cover Letter – Enter cover letter content in the open text field provided.
• Employment Type – Select from available options such as full-time, part-time, or job share.
• CV – Upload a new CV or attach an existing one.
• Declaration – Review and accept the terms and conditions to proceed.

Select Join.
