Account Access & Management
- What if I have SAMpeople Recruit accounts with multiple trusts?
The new Jobs Board brings all vacancies together in one central location, so you’ll only need a single login to access every opportunity. If you already have accounts with multiple trusts, you’ll be prompted to select one when you first sign in. All your details—including any active or draft applications—will be combined into the account you choose, making it easier to manage your job search in one place.
CV & Application Details
- Can I upload my CV manually?
Yes — you can manually upload or edit your CV at any stage of the application process. - What if the system doesn’t extract CV info correctly?
You can manually adjust your application before submitting. - Can SAMpeople Recruit save my details so I can apply for more roles in the future?
Yes — once you have applied for a role, these details will be saved in your profile. - Can I edit my details on SAMpeople Recruit?
Yes — by clicking on Profile, you can view, update, or add to your personal information. - Do I need to add a reference for every reference type?
References are determined by the employer. You may submit multiple references, and the employer will choose which ones to contact.
Job Search & Alerts
- Can I search for jobs across the whole trust?
Yes — using the Trust filter, you can explore vacancies across all schools. - Will I see who posted the role?
Yes — job listings include employer details. - Can I receive job alerts?
Yes — once you've set your job preferences, you can choose to receive email alerts. - How do I save jobs to apply for later?
Click the star icon when viewing a vacancy. Saved roles appear in the Saved Jobs tab.
Talent Pool
- Can I join the talent pool without applying?
Yes — you can register your interest independently. - Can I leave a talent pool?
Yes — you can manage and delete talent pool requests from your settings.
Interview & Application Management
- How do I change my interview date?
You will need to contact the school directly. - Can I withdraw my application?
No — this is not current functionality. You can contact the school to reject your application. - Can I delete a draft application?
Yes — select the red bin icon to delete applications still in draft.
