How to Complete Pre-Employment Checks

As you progress through the application process, you’ll receive documentation that must be completed to support essential pre-employment checks. These forms are sent and managed through SAMpeople Recruit, ensuring a secure and streamlined experience. Completing these checks within the system helps maintain consistency, protects your personal information, and ensures that all required steps are tracked and verified efficiently by the recruiting team.


Ensure you are logged in to SAMpeople Recruit by clicking on Sign in / Sign Up in the top-right hand corner. 

1. Select Applications.


2. Select the application.



3. Select Checks.

4. Add the following checks by clicking Upload:


- Personal ID

- Right to Work in the UK

- Qualifications


5. You can add a new attachment from your device by completing the fields and selecting Choose file to upload the document.


Click Save.


6. If you've already uploaded documents to your profile, you can move them into the checks section by clicking the My Documents tab at the top of the pop-up window.


7. Select a document from the drop-down list and the greyed-out fields will populate.

Click Save.


8. You will receive a message to indicate the document has been submitted successfully.

Click Ok.


9. Documents can be deleted by selecting the bin icon.

10. A confirmation message will appear asking if you're certain about deleting. Select Yes to proceed.
