How to Upload a CV to an application

To streamline your application process, you can upload your CV directly to the platform. Once uploaded, the system will automatically extract key details—such as your work history, qualifications, and contact information—and populate the relevant fields within the application form. This saves you time, reduces manual data entry, and helps ensure your information is consistent and accurately presented. It’s a simple way to make your application more efficient while allowing you to focus on tailoring your submission to the role.


Log in to SAMpeople Recruit.

1. Complete the search parameters and select Find Jobs.



2. Select the vacancy.

3. Click Apply Now.


Please note: If you are not logged into SAMpeople Recruit, selecting Apply Now will redirect you to the Sign In / Sign Up page. 



4. Click Upload CV



5. Select from the two options:

  • Use existing CV - If a CV has already been uploaded to your profile, this can be chosen from a drop-down list. 
  • Upload new CV - A file can be chosen from your device.

    Click Upload.



Once the CV has uploaded, the information will populate in the application form. An orange CV icon will appear next to any information that has come from the uploaded CV.


6. Information that has been added via the CV upload must be reviewed and saved before continuing the application process.
